Last Saturday we where delighted to welcome some of our Guild Members to an open afternoon at The Rocking Horse Shop.

We demonstrated lots of differnt aspects of Rocking Horse making including carving, gessoing, painting, tacking up and Rocking Horse renovations.

Bigger Bertie was alo in the yard for every one to see.  He is the largest hand carving Rocking Horse in the world and he will be finished for everyone to see at Fangfest.

We also encouraged our Guild Members to have a go at carving Bigger Bertie, here you can see  them carving part of the tail and belly.

We also asked our members to bring along some photos of the Rocking Horses they had made, you can see the board got very full.

Pictures being added to the Guild Members Wall of Fame!

The response from the guild members was fantastic, many of them emailed us this week to thank us for a great event.  We will definately be making this an annual event.
